About World Health Systems Facts

“Clearly bringing great information to the forefront in this very important time for health system facts.”
— Ben Handel, PhD, Associate Professor of Economics, University of California – Berkeley

World Health Systems Facts is a project of the Real Reporting Foundation.

Contact us.

World Health Systems Facts follows the same approach as its sister project, Drug Policy Facts, by providing data and statistics in relevant subject areas, including full citations and links to the source materials. Fact items are curated from authoritative sources including governmental comparative health care studies, peer reviewed journals, and other authoritative sources. This is done without bias or editorial comment.

Our task is to offer useful information to a debate that is often characterized by myths, ignorance, emotion and dissembling.

When first published twenty-five years ago, Drug Policy Facts – then titled Drug War Facts – consisted of a twenty page booklet. Today its web site is an authoritative source for information on seventy drug policy related issues.  It has had over twelve million visitors.

We perceive World Health Systems Facts evolving in a similar manner, expanding constantly and being updated continuously.

We share the view that over time an informed society will generate wise approaches.
